Fast and Furious

I was never a fan of action movies. I remember one night as a child, around 8 years of age if not older, I sneaked out of my room to watch an action movie on television. I thought I'd enjoy it. If you've put in all that effort sneaking out of your room and tried to stay awake past your bed time, how can it not be good, right?

Wrong! That would be the first and last action movie I would have watched in years to come. It took me more than a decade before I was able to put the words 'action movie' and 'fun' in one sentence.

This could also be the reason why I never watched any of the Fast and Furious movies. When the sixth movie was out, I decided to watch it. (Yea, a fan of The Rock I am!) I missed the first 30 minutes of the movie but even then, the rest of the movie was so good it put me at the edge of my seat. There were also several hilarious scenes! The loudest laugh in the theatre was probably from me.

The movie that good that I went back home and watched the first 5 movies and finished them all in 3 days! Now I can't wait for the the seventh movie. I think it's safe to say I am an action movie fan now!

If you've not watched any of the Fast and Furious movies, I suggest you start now from the very first! It is THAT good!
