A compliment a day puts a skip to your step

Opposite IDP (where I sat for IELTS) is Taylor's College (where I did my A Levels). Usually, public can't enter but because there was a Pre-U event today, I could go in. I was walking down memory lane when a girl came to me and asked if I needed help on anything and I told her I used to study here and that I was just looking around. When I told I have completed my degree, she was absolutely surprised. I then asked how old she is and she said she is 18 and I went on to tell her that I am 26! 8 years difference in our ages was like a century to her. Fair enough, she is young (and beautiful and friendly too!). I told her I've even done my masters and she was more surprised saying that I don't look like that! She said I look like I am a student and her surprise attracted 2 or 3 more of her friends who came asking what we were talking about and she told them I looked like a student. That made my day! That beautiful, cheerful girl made my day! Thank you, girl! You are awesome!

The next time you are out and are chatting with someone, make an honest compliment and make their day!!!
